Alesker & Dundon, LLC

Mr. Dundon has been with the firm since 1969 and has been an associate since 1972. He joined Mr. Alesker as a principal of the firm in 1984. His early experience includes work in Montreal on Habitat '67 and in Israel on major projects. For several years, he has been a Professor at Drexel University in both the Nesbit School of Design and the Evening College.

During his association with Alesker & Dundon Architects, he has been responsible for the programming, design, project management and construction administration of numerous projects involving a wide variety of building types.

Mr. Dundon graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with both a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture Degree.

The following are some projects for which Mr. Dundon was architect:

• The Kutztown University field house addition and renovations. Winner of the PA state Art Commission Design Award for excellence. The project was built for 3% below the budget.
• The Hershey Hotel, Corpus Christi, Texas. An 18 story, 474 room hotel with convention and banquet facilities, restaurants, bar nightclub, a 380 car parking garage and ground floor retail space.
• The Pocono Hershey Hotel. An 80-guestroom addition to an existing hotel. This work included site redesign, new meeting rooms and a new cocktail lounge.
• The Brewery House, Philadelphia, PA. Working within rigid historic renovation guidelines, an old Brewery building was renovated into unique and spacious condominiums, each with private gardens.
• The Port of History Museum on Penn's Landing on the waterfront in Philadelphia. A 60,000 square foot exhibition building with a 550-seat theater.
• The Pine Barrens Golf Club Clubhouse, Jackson Township, NJ. A new 7,500 square foot golf clubhouse building containing a restaurant, snack bar, bar, kitchen, pro shop, locker rooms and expansive screened porches overlooking a new 18-hole golf course. The building has a dramatic exposed Adirondack like pole structure and shingled exterior.
• The Pine Hill Golf Club Clubhouse in Pine Hill, NJ. A new 43,000 square foot facility with banquet, restaurant, kitchen, pro-shop and locker facilities. Public facilities have dramatic views of the Philadelphia skyline
• The Rudman Memorial at Congregation Adath Jeshurun - A memorial in the form of a gallery for the display of art work and artifacts, many of which are in the congregation’s archives, as well as a location for changing exhibits related to Jewish life and culture.
• 1300 Spruce Street, 1302 Spruce Street and 300 S. 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA  - 3 inter-connected historic properties of 3 and 4 stories, completely redesigned to include a first floor restaurant, with condominiums above and an existing center courtyard to be improved to serve as a focus and a visual amenity for the apartments, and as an outdoor dining area for the restaurant.
• 1832 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA – A 3-story historic residential building to be converted into 6 condominiums.
