Valley Forge Hilton Addition
The addition of 102 hotel rooms and suites constructed over the 4-story portions of the existing hotel, previously design by A&D. The expansion of public areas including a new nightclub, barber and beauty shop, a health club and enclosed pool, the renovation of existing public areas, meeting rooms and guest rooms, and the construction of a 129 car parking garage. The overbuild was accomplished by clear spanning the existing structure with full story height trusses enclosing entirely usable space and adding floor above without disrupting the use of the existing building. Completed in 1984.
